A SURPRISE optical illusion is driving social media users crazy – so can you find the spring in the pile of nails?

Optical illusion, shared on TikTok by user @lyyi002went viral, garnering more than 900,000 views, with thousands trying to locate spring.

”This is for people with eagle eyes”, user warned in video.

Uploading a snapshot, this person reveals that it took them less than two minutes to find the hidden spring – so, can you beat the time?

The image shows dozens of nails of varying lengths and sizes, each pointing in a different direction.

On the contrary, this makes detecting the spring quite difficult, especially when it has the same color.

But those who managed to find the teen item flocked to the comments to share their results – and where the spring is in the photo.

“Found almost immediately,” said one proudly.

Another person with 20/20 vision wrote: ”It took me 2 seconds.”

”too easy. found it 0.5 seconds,” a third was completely disappointed.

“Less than a second,” revealed one eagle-eyed TikTok fan.
