You need to run, not walk, to Asda – towels are scanning for 22p and fans can’t get enough of them

SUPERMARKET shoppers have been left open-mouthed thanks to the latest deal that hit retail.
Asda customers couldn’t believe their eyes when they spotted bath towels on offer for 62p – and got another surprise when the towels were scanned for just 22p.
The low price caught the attention of a savvy shopper who quickly decided to stock up.
Originally available at £1.25, the pink and cream towels have been reduced by almost 50%.
And after taking her groceries home and unpacking, she decided to share her shopping tips with others so they could take advantage of the offer too.
The woman posted her finds on the Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK Facebook group, encouraging others to keep an eye out.
Next to the stack of towels she had bought, she wrote: “Asda Llandudno bath towels.
“Bath towels 62p, towels 22p.”
She later added in the comments that she was very happy with her purchase: “You can never have enough towels.”
However, she also stressed that she wasn’t greedy and “only took three of each color” to make sure “there was enough left”.
And it didn’t take long for the post to garner a lot of attention from other social media followers, who love the group for exactly that reason.
One person wrote: “Very nice! I love Asda towels.”
A second person agreed with them, writing, “Amazing.”
Elsewhere, a third typed, “Great bargain!”
A fourth said they were impressed by her bargain hunter look and described the towels as “great finds”.
Another person was equally impressed and couldn’t believe the ridiculously low price.
They said, “Lucky you – those are great towels.”
While another bargain hunter said she’s letting the cat out of the bag now, people are scrambling to snag some.

Meanwhile, another person pointed out how lucky they were to be in the right place at the right time, saying: “What’s even more shocking than the price is that you got any at all.”
