About Fugue

Fugue is the reincarnated Tingyun saved by Ruan Mei. Her Skill grants “Foxian Prayer” to one ally, increasing Break Effect by 15% and allowing Toughness reduction against non-matching Weakness Types. This puts her in “Torrid Scorch” state for 3 turns.
Her Talent applies “Cloudflame Luster” to enemies worth 40% of Max Toughness. After breaking initial Toughness, this can be reduced for another Weakness Break damage instance.
Fugue enables Super Break damage. When allies attack Weakness Broken enemies, Toughness Reduction converts into Super Break damage at 50% effectiveness.
Best Light Cones for Fugue

Here are the best light cone options for Fugue:
| Light Cone | Rarity | Why It’s Good |
| Long Road Leads Home | 5-Star | Her signature with 60-100% Break Effect and Charring debuff |
| Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat | 4-Star | Best free option providing Break Effect boost |
| Before the Tutorial Mission Starts | 4-Star | Provides Effect Hit Rate and Energy regeneration |
| Solitary Healing | 4-Star | Available from Herta Store with decent stats |
Long Road Leads Home is Fugue’s signature light cone. It provides massive Break Effect scaling from 60% to 100%. When enemy Weakness gets broken, it inflicts the “Charring” state that increases Break damage taken by 18% to 30% for 2 turns. This effect stacks 2 times.
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat is the best 4-star choice with 20% Break Effect.
Best Relics for Fugue

Relics are crucial for building Fugue correctly. Here’s what you need:
Best Relic Set
The 4 piece Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is Fugue’s best relic set. It gives 16% Break Effect. At 150% Break Effect, it ignores 10% of enemy DEF. At 250% Break Effect or higher, Super Break damage ignores an additional 15% DEF.
The 4 piece Thief of Shooting Meteor is an alternative providing 16% Break Effect and 3 Energy after Weakness Break.
Best Planar Ornaments
For planar ornaments, use Talia: Kingdom of Banditry as your top choice. This set provides 16% Break Effect. When Fugue’s Speed reaches 145 or higher, she gains an extra 20% Break Effect for a total of 36%.
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is another excellent choice when fighting Fire-weak enemies. It provides 6% Speed and 40% Break Effect when hitting enemies with Fire Weakness.
Main Stats and Substats
Focus on these stats:
Main Stats:
- Body: ATK%
- Feet: Speed
- Planar Sphere: ATK% or Fire DMG%
- Link Rope: Break Effect
Substats Priority:
- Break Effect
- Effect Hit Rate
- Speed
Fugue needs 220% Break Effect to maximize teammate Break Effect boosts. She also needs 67% Effect Hit Rate for guaranteed DEF debuff. If using Talia, aim for 145 Speed.
Best Team Compositions

Fugue excels in Break-focused teams. Here are the best combinations:
- Premium Team: Firefly + Fugue + Ruan Mei + Lingsha
- Alternative Team 1: Boothill + Fugue + Ruan Mei + Gallagher
- Alternative Team 2: Rappa + Fugue + Harmony Trailblazer + Lingsha
- New Meta Team: Firefly + Fugue + The Dahlia + Lingsha
Fugue works best with Break DPS characters like Firefly, Boothill, and Rappa. Ruan Mei provides Break Effect and Speed buffs. Lingsha offers healing and increases Break damage taken. Gallagher is a strong free to play option.
Trace Priority
Level Fugue’s traces in this order:
- Talent (highest priority for Super Break and Cloudflame Luster)
- Skill (important for Break Effect buff and DEF reduction)
- Ultimate (useful for AoE Toughness damage)
- Basic Attack (lowest priority)
All three of Fugue’s bonus abilities are important for maximizing her effectiveness.
Eidolons Worth Considering

Fugue’s Eidolons are powerful but not necessary. Her E1 recovers 1 Skill Point after first Skill use. Her E2 increases Break damage by 20% for allies with Foxian Prayer. Her E6 makes Foxian Prayer apply to all allies. Fugue functions perfectly at E0 with proper team building.
Fugue is a must-pull character for Break team players. Her Super Break enablement and Cloudflame Luster mechanic make her viable against any content. She provides excellent value with DEF reduction and unique Break mechanics. Whether running Firefly, Boothill, or Rappa, Fugue will significantly boost your team’s damage output.
