Dodgers fans must boo Houston Astros for stolen World Series
Dodgers Fans Must Boo the Astros — And Here’s Why I Will Too
As a die-hard Dodgers fan, I still remember the gut punch that was the 2017 World Series. I watched every game with hope, heartbreak, and a belief in fair play. But when news broke that the Houston Astros had used an illegal sign-stealing system to gain an unfair advantage, it felt like betrayal on a whole new level. They didn’t just win—they stole that championship. And honestly, I haven’t been able to let it go.
I know some people say, “It’s time to move on,” or “It’s just a game.” But if you’re like me, you understand that baseball is more than a game—it’s community, passion, and loyalty. The Astros broke that sacred trust. And they did it at the expense of the Dodgers, our team, our city, and our faith in sportsmanship.
That’s why I believe Dodgers fans must boo the Astros every time they step onto our field. Not out of hate—but out of accountability. I’m not here to throw trash or start fights. I just want to send a message: Cheating has consequences. Even years later, we remember.
Some Astros players might have moved on, but the fans haven’t received closure. MLB’s light punishment didn’t help. There were no vacated titles, no real justice. So if I have a chance to raise my voice in the stands, you bet I will.
Let’s be loud, let’s be united, and let’s never forget what was taken from us. Booing might not change the past, but it reminds the world—we still care. We still believe in integrity. And we’ll keep showing up for the Dodgers, the right way.
So yeah, I’ll boo. And I hope you’ll join me.
